Role Summary Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Software Developer will be required to: • Be part of a team designing and developing Alterian’s next generation of web based products. • This will be a branch of a team based in the UK.

Technical skills Essential • User interface design for both desktop and web applications. • C# and .NET framework 2.0 (MUST) or greater. • ASP.NET 2.0 (MUST) or greater. • Javascript (MUST) • HTML and DOM – especially IE& DOM and quirks mode. • CSS Desirable • Agile and test driven development methodologies. • Visual Studio 2008 and Team System. • Interop with COM Components. • AJAX experience – e.g. MS ASP.NET AJAX, jQuery. • SQL Server. • Infragistics, Telerik or DevExpress web controls. • Any VB experience would be beneficial. • Nunit testing framework.
